My Practice

I first came to psychotherapy for very personal reasons: to understand myself, to make sense of the world around me, and to feel understood in ways I hadn’t always experienced before.

Over time, I’ve come to believe that therapy can be a powerful space for self-discovery. It allows us to explore the parts of ourselves we might struggle to reach alone but can access with the support of another. At the heart of therapy, I see the most value in a warm, collaborative relationship, one that creates the safety needed for understanding and growth. When we begin to truly understand ourselves, others, and our place in the world, real and meaningful change becomes possible.

I also believe therapy looks different for each person. Together, we will work to understand your needs and create a therapeutic relationship that supports the changes you are seeking.

Our lives are shaped by the social and cultural identities we hold, and by the realities of the world we move through. These forces can create both connection and suffering, especially for those in marginalized positions. Therapy, for me, is also about holding space for these realities and the impact they have on how we experience ourselves and others.

I believe our experience in the world and how we understand it is deeply entrenched in our socio cultural identities/realities and the suffering it causes is profound for individuals occupying certain marginalised positions.
